Woodland Garden

For this project, I worked with the homeowner to help bring her shade and semi-shade garden to life. She'd been plugging away at it for years and had a nice line-up of plants, but the garden felt disjointed and the plants weren't thriving as she'd hoped. We worked together to create nice sharp borders for the beds, added more plants, applied an inch-thick layer of pine-spruce mulch to help the beds retain moisture, better control weeds weeds, and regulate soil temperature. All together, this created a charming woodland setting and provided the homeowner with the knowledge she required to enhance her gardening success going forward.
